An ex-girlfriend of The Script maven Danny O'Donoghue came close to playing his honey interest in the band's new euphony video.
His former lover was one of a choice of Irish women world Health Organization were brought to the group's attention by a casting director.
"It brought second a lot of feelings and emotions," Danny told the Daily Star. "I said all week: 'I hope it's not somebody from Dublin we know.'"
He revealed that his ex was ultimately unsuccessful in landing the role, adding: "The lead girl, Irma Mali, is amazing and tall care me."
The stars decided to film the video for 'Break Even' at plate in Ireland after shot previous clips in New York and Los Angeles.
Guitarist Mark Sheehan said: "People [kept] request if we were American so we realised we needed to do something about it."
